Kate Christie

Meet Kate Christie, a highly qualified and passionate professional dedicated to making a positive impact in the field of youth development and mental health. Kate holds a diverse range of qualifications, including a Diploma in Youth Work, a Diploma in Aboriginal Studies, a Bachelor's degree in Community Welfare with a focus on Youth Work, and Graduate Diplomas in Psychology and Advanced Psychology.

In her therapeutic approach, Kate combines evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Play-Based CBT, and AutPlay Therapy. Her specialisation lies in working with young people aged 5-16 years, addressing issues related to anxiety, autism, ADHD, challenging behaviours, and gender dysphoria.
